A Nelipot is a person who likes to go barefoot, especially outside! Feet are one of the most nerve-rich parts of the human body, so they contribute greatly to the building of neurological pathways in the brain.
What is a
Nelipot?
The early years are the most important of your child’s life
By the age of three, a child’s brain has already reached about 80% of its full size, and a baby’s brain makes one million new neural connections every second!
We are passionate about helping your child reach their full potential through developmental coaching, sleep support, infant massage instruction, and more.
Nelipot Therapy offers a variety of services to meet your needs
Infant and Early Childhood Sleep Consults
Sleep is essential for growing and learning, and as a person with a lifelong sleep disorder, Lindy knows how important it is to rectify those sleepless nights.
Lindy is a neurodiversity-affirming and Infant Mental Health Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach and brings 8 years of developmental therapy experience and 15 years of child development and family studies experience to the table.
You are the expert on your child and your family culture is unique to you. You and Lindy will walk side by side to create a sleep plan that feels sustainable, healthy, and effective for your family. In-person and virtual sessions are available.
Infant Massage Instruction
Whether you are interested in Infant Massage as a parent, professional, or student, Lindy would love to work with you. Infant massage is the beautiful practice of massaging your own baby therapeutically. Lindy can come to your home to teach you all of the techniques needed to realize the benefits of loving touch therapy. Lindy will demonstrate techniques on a doll, and you will massage your child.
Lindy provides massage instruction for baby’s legs, feet, arms, hands, stomach (including a gas and colic protocol), chest, face, back, and stretching. Instruction will also cover theory, benefits, and history of massage, providing appropriate oils, materials, and environment, behavioral cues of babies, and more. Oil and instructional booklet are included in cost. If time allows, caregivers can also ask questions related to their child’s skills and milestones. In-person sessions are available.
